Electric On The Eel: June 10, 1989 Coming April 20 for Record Store Day

We’re going back down to the banks of the Eel River to press another electric set! In celebration of locally owned, independent records stores, the Jerry Garcia Family and Round Records will release Electric on the Eel: June 10th, 1989 as a 4-LP set on April 20th.

This fan-favorite two-set performance features a multitude of beloved Garcia/Hunter songs, such as a stirring “Mission in the Rain” and classic first set closer “Deal.” The setlist also includes a rarity in “I Hope It Won’t Be This Way Always,” which was only known to have been performed six times by the band.

Electric on the Eel: June 10th, 1989 is pressed to neon green vinyl with lacquers cut by Chris Muth (Taloowa Mastering) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (Kevorkian Mastering). Available in a limited edition of 3,000 with a special etching on Side H, visit RecordStoreDay.com to find a participating record store.
